The Bump

So here are some picture of my little growing bump, and for those of you who didn't hear the screaming from the rooftops... IT'S A GIRL!!
We are so excited to bring a little girl home in July. I have been browsing pinterest for cute little girly ideas and have already made her some cute little headbands.
We had our ultrasound and she was all curled up, and the technician wanted a better look at her heart and spine so we got to have another ultrasound. She was all curled up again, but they could see what they needed. She is pretty shy about showing us her face, we don't have a good shot of her face at all. She has her knees up to her nose and her arm shielding her face, shy little girl. She is a girl though....she was not shy about proving that. Right now I have been feeling pretty good, my headaches seem to come in series I had a few weeks there where I felt amazing, but the headaches have returned for a while. Other than that I feel really good, and I love to feel her squirm around inside me! I also really love my maternity clothes! I feel so much better in them, I feel like I look huge in regular clothes and maternity clothes are just more flattering now, I really don't understand people who don't like wearing them! The people I help at the Credit Union, well the brave ones, are starting to make comments. I am glad that I look like I'm expecting and I actually prefer when people say something cause if they don't I just worry that they think I'm chubby!

FYI...I would love to find out what we are having via biting into a delicious cupcake and see what color cream filling is inside!!

Anyways we have our gender ultrasound in a couple weeks, and if our little sweet potato (pretty big huh!) corporates we will know! It would be fun to see what everyone thinks we could be having so leave a comment and see if your right...go ahead and throw in a name suggestion if you have any :)

3 times a charm...

Yes, Eric didn't believe me and made me use the whole box of tests. We're having a baby! Most of you probably already know this, but I guess it is time to shout it to all!! The due date is July 14, 2012 (my mom's birthday!) This little peanut will be the first grand baby for my side of the family and the 8th on Eric's side! Right now I am about 16 weeks and starting to feel chubby! If you knew I was pregnant you would think I'm getting a cute little belly, but if you don't know then you would think I eat too many milkshakes (which I actually do!) I guess that is why it's time for everyone to know! My first trimester was pretty great. I never had any morning sickness, I would get a little nauseous when it was time to eat, but after eating that would go away. The second trimester has not been so easy, I know you hear that the second trimester is the happy days of pregnancy, but I have had a headache everyday, and couple migraines (and that is when I throw up) and I can tell my baby is growing and pushing everything out of his/her way! Let me tell you, I am tall, but it is ALL leg and my midsection is non-existent and I am already getting squished! Anyways we should find out if we are having a boy or a girl on February 22nd and we are very excited to know!

Time

Wow, yes I haven't posted since August! I don't really have anything special to post about, I just thought I would let everyone (if anyone) know that we are alive....barely! School began and thus ended our lives. Eric has been extremely busy and even has me typing up his homework so he actually has time to do it! At least I feel like I'm being helpful! Tomorrow Eric has a HUGE important exam, the FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) and it is 8 hours long, not to mention $125 just to take it. I hope that he is able to pass his first time around, I know the thought of having to do it all over again would be stressful!
I just had an eye doctors appointment that was a little depressing, apparently my eyes have just gotten dry and irritated while wearing contacts and now have so much irritation and inflammation that I can no longer wear contacts. my prescription went from -1.25 and -1.50 to -4.00 and -2.50 all because the irritation is blurring my vision. The hope is that the irritation gets better before there is any permanent scaring and my prescription goes back to normal and (probably a long shot...) I hope I can wear contacts again someday! I HATE glasses!
Winter is fast approaching Northern Utah...yikes! Wish us luck with the months ahead! P.S. I also hope to update the recipe blog soon, another project that I can't seem to follow through on!

Yellowstone

So we went to Yellowstone with the Alvey's, and it was awesome!!
It was my very first time going to Yellowstone (shocking since my parents go like every year!) and Eric hasn't been since he was a little kid. Kyle and Gina set the whole thing up, and Kyle's brother and his little family came too. We had some sweet cabins, but neglected to get a picture of them.
