Happy Valentimes*

*My little brother used to go to speech therapy. He used to say a few words uh...incorrectly, (ie. Valentimes, Hallowing) but it was cute I mean he was just a kid, well I used to make fun of for it...now those words sort of stuck and I find myself using them all the time!

Anyways, Valentines day. (I will never forget how to spell Valentine because of that song we sang in elementary school, "Will you be my V-A-L-E-N-T-I-N-E?")
Eric had to work, just like every other Saturday night, until 8 so not much of a valentines day for us, but Friday after he got off at about 10 (and I was already in bed and almost asleep hehe!) he came home with a beautiful assortment of flowers! yay! What a great husband I have, then in the morning I opened my card (it said something about me hogging all the covers...funny...and uh true) and my gifts (Britney Spears and Madagascar 2!) and Eric headed off to work again. I had to take my Accounting test, which went horribly, my teacher gave us a 3 hour time limit and assured us that we would need the entire time and after about 30 min. I had completed all the multiple choice questions (granted I wasn't confident, but I don't dwell) and was wondering what I was going to do with the 2.5 hours. (I think I finished an hour later) I decided I like not receiving my score from the testing center, makes for a more positive day thinking I did better than I actually may have. After running a few errands and cleaning up the house, it was finally time for Eric to come home and see his gifts (The Fray and season 5 of the Simpson's) and then we popped open some sparkling cider! Hopefully we can find a chance to go out to dinner and a movie next week, but we were too chicken to brave the crowds on V-day!

Ryan used to say "Buh-sketti" for "spaghetti." Chloe would say "loff-lops" for "flip-flops" and "siral" for cereal. An Eric classic: "cone" in place of "corn"...(Eric, do you remember this?) Best of all was "mormon" for "warmin'" (as in "warmin' in the oven"). Oh yeah, and Christina's Saddam Boo-sane. It's Hussein, right Christina?

oh hehe. I remember how your cousin couldn't say Heaston's name. Kids talk is cute. Sorry your Accounting test didn't go so well :( but Happy Valentine's Day!
